A wise man once said, “Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.” Although Vincent Van Gogh may have been referring to strokes on a canvas, this concept can be implemented in almost every facet of life. For business owners, we understand how overwhelming it can be to stay on top of tasks. The initial response is to pick a day and tackle everything at once, but all that will result in is things getting overlooked and you feeling burnt out and unmotivated. So instead, we’ve come up with a different approach.
The EzTix Cleanup makes it simpler for you to tackle each goal one day at a time. Here’s how it works: For the first two weeks of every quarter, we have created four daily tasks. Each task is geared towards ensuring that your EzTix account is up-to-date and organized so that the rest of your month is smooth sailing and stress free.
Breakdown of each task:
Review Email Graphics
Take a look at the photos, headers and logos you have linked to all of your confirmation, reminder and post-event emails. Are they high quality? Are they current or out-of-date? This might be a great time to freshen them up with something seasonal, or a promotional message.
Run Sales Report
It’s always important to be aware of the current numbers your company is doing. Run a report to compare the third quarter to the same period a year ago.
Ensure that you have removed any old vendors and have accurate information on your current ones. If you haven’t tried Vendors in EzTix, it’s a perfect opportunity to learn more.
Check in with Team
Ask your team how they’re doing! It takes a village to build a company. You’re only as strong as your weakest link, so make sure that everyone is still motivated and enthusiastic.
Review Ticket Page Graphics
Similarly to your email graphics, you want to make sure that the images and logos on your ticketing page are also current and high quality.
Update Event Descriptions
Revisit your event descriptions. Does what you currently have written sound appealing? Is the information you have listed accurate to what you have on your website and on other pages?
Clear Out Unused Discounts Codes
This one is pretty straight forward, just reduce availability to zero. Clean clean clean!
Check Confirmation Emails
Make sure that the information listed in your confirmation, reminder and post-event emails are accurate. Have you updated the meeting points? Have you added the correct parking details?
Enjoy a Glass of Wine to Celebrate!
You’ve done well! Sit back, relax and enjoy your favourite cocktail or a glass of wine in honor of all of your hard work.
