A New Chapter for Food Tourism and EzTix

Last Updated February 26, 2020

For a decade, we’ve celebrated our love of culinary tourism alongside Partners around the world. You’ve introduced many of us at EzTix to authentic experiences and flavours that are second to none. As we settle into this new decade, we can’t wait for the new adventures on the horizon with you and the rest of our community.

EzTix Founder & CEO, Jeremy Mitchell

For Spring 2020, we’re focusing on offering a new suite of tools to help food tours save time, save money, and increase sales. To start, Vendor Management is getting excellent reviews from users, and the beta program for EzBook 3 is our most popular ever! Next, we’re adding more features, including a shopping cart, curated experience packages, waitlists, and Facebook pixel tracking to help your guests book more experiences. The final new feature on the way is a Channel Manager, very close to an open beta, connecting your ticket stock to OTAs like Expedia and Get Your Guide.

Making the most of those features means you need better resources. In March, we’re launching a series of webinars, twice a month, connecting the tools you have in EzTix with industry best practices. More than just walkthroughs of features, we’ll be inviting experts to help you make the most of your marketing, sales, and management tools. We’re excited to help facilitate new learning and new opportunities for you to connect with colleagues. Most importantly, you’ll gain the knowledge needed to make the best decisions for your business.

The best way to bring in new ideas is to make new connections and broaden our horizons. As such, EzTix has decided to end our formal relationship with the Global Food Tourism Association. To be aligned too closely to one organization or another limits our offerings and has proven to alienate many members of the community. An independent EzTix means we can bring you a wider range of education, ideas, and experts to ensure you can learn from the best in the world!

Everyone on our team at EzTix shares not only a dedication to helping your business grow, but we are also passionate about great food and brilliant storytelling. We’ll always treasure the relationships we’ve built working with GFTA and cannot wait to make even more profound, more meaningful connections throughout the culinary tourism industry.

Thanks for being our Partner, and I can’t wait to see what we can do together in 2020!
