Give Easy Access to Tickets with Direct Links

Last Updated September 20, 2017

Channels like social networks or chat offer great options for both your experience company and your guests. Sure, we all love the convenience of being able to just fire off a Facebook message to have some questions answered, but could that app also help you sell more tickets?

We think so! Sharing a direct link to an event or tour ticketing page can save your guests time and increase your odds of making a sale.

For example, lets say you’ve received a Twitter DM asking about a food tour coming up on Friday. After answering all of the questions your follower has, you can skip the “head over to our website” instructions and offer a single click to start the booking process.  Less friction means a better likelihood this prospect becomes a guest.

Here’s how to do it.

  1. Login to your account.
  2. Find the experience that best suits your guest.  Often times you can get right to the specific date and time they’re looking for using your Events list or Calendar.
  3. Once you’ve opened the event, right or alt click on the Ticket Page link in the left-hand menu bar.
  4. Paste away! With one click, you’ll help your new guest jump right into the booking process.

Boost A Slow Day

Direct links can also help your promotion efforts online or via email.

If you have an event coming up with high availability and you’d like to fill it up, sharing a direct link across your social networks can help give it the push it may need to succeed.  To offer an additional incentive, pair it with a discount code.

Fill The Last Few Spots

Popular events can also benefit from a push toward the finish line, because who doesn’t love being a part of the hottest tour or festival in town?  Letting your fans know there are only a few tickets left to an experience lets them know time is running out, and the time to book is now!

No matter how you choose to use Direct Ticket links, your guests will love the opportunity to save a bit of time when booking online.
